I have to admit i'm not a great fan of my home city, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. There are a few things about it, that, well.. one day i'll talk about it. But one thing is undeniable: it's got some really beautiful hidden spots. And many of them come out mostly at night. This is one of them. The tree in the back is the dragon tree i mentioned in a previous post. A magnificent species, original of this part of the world, that actually is not a tree but a very thick, old and wise nonwoody "herb"."El drago y el chicharro" parece más un título para un cuento que otra cosa. Este es uno de esos rinconcitos encantadores de Santa Cruz, más aún desde que se han hecho peatonales todas las calles alrededor. Sin embargo, a pesar de todos sus rincones, a Santa Cruz cada vez se la aguanta menos. Ahora sí, cuando esté a miles de kilómetros de distancia la echaré de menos como si fuera la ciudad más maravillosa del mundo. Irónico.
